The Royal Over-Seas League is a mutual society owned by its members.
The League is also an official Commonwealth Non-Government Organisation incorporated by Royal Charter as a non-profit organisation.
The Patron of the world-wide League is Her Majesty The Queen whilst the Vice-Patron is H.R.H. Princess Alexandra, the Honourable Lady Ogilvy KG GCVO. In Australia our Patron is the Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, whilst the League's Patron in Victoria is the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser AC CVO
